Synopsis

Bhatsa, Tansa, and Vaitrana are the main dams that supply water to Mumbai in Shahapur taluka of Thane district, India. Many villages went underwater for this dam. Thousands of families were displaced. In the villages where no government plan was reached, the people were living a happy and contented life by eating the bread of hard work. Suddenly the dam is approved and hundreds of families are ruined. Vabhut (Storm) is the story of an extinct village and displaced villagers. Although the story is entirely fictitious, it is based on true events.
